Phong Bui

Phong Bui is a curator, artist, and publisher of the Brooklyn Rail working for over 40 years in the contemporary arts industry.

THE CHALLENGE

Phong Bui needed to update his website to a more user-friendly web administrative platform as well as show more of his career over the past forty years. There was also a need to create a section to include the audience and make the website socially-engaged via adding events and a “participation” section allowing access to his interviews with leaders in the field and instagram feed.

PAIN POINTS
Showing other artists’ work only over showcasing his own projects• No curatorial section• Menu needed consolidation with clear CTA • Need to create a space for interaction beyond a view-only website (no events section) • The website was not responsive to mobile-design • Save time for web admin/studio assistant by transferring over to Squarespace
